Rap Lab Mural at UVA

The Rap Lab at UVA is a space where students create music and explore the cultural significance of hip-hop. Professor A.D. Carson approached the Charlottesville Mural Project with the idea of transforming the classroom into a more creative environment. Local graffiti artists Saeoh and Nak made it happen, drawing inspiration from train and urban graffiti. The artists set up in public at UVA Arts Grounds to paint large sections on panels. Once the panels were installed, additional paint was added directly to the walls to create a cohesive, unified mural design.
