Meals On Wheels Mural

Local muralists Chicho Lorenzo and Federico Cuatlacuatl teamed up with local elementary students to turn input from neighborhood Meals On Wheels clients into a new mural for Charlottesville Meals On Wheels. 200 clients year round throughout Charlottesville and Albemarle. The mural celebrates MOW presence in Rose Hill and honors the neighborhood’s unique culture and history; including its unceded, centuries-long ancestral inhabitation by the Monacan people. This project is supported by the National Endowment for the Arts and Virginia Commission for the Arts. For more from Chicho Lorenzo, visit here. For more from Federico Cuatlacuatl, visit here.
